Short and Sweet Bolero is definitely finished!
My attempt at the Short and Sweet Bolero from “Stitch ‘n Bitch: The Happy Hooker” is finally finished! I made this for my sister-in-law for Christmas. It’s crocheted with Red Heart ‘Soft’ yarn – a worsted-weight acrylic. It’s designed to be a winter jacket, to be worn over a long-sleeved top or skivvy.
I made it in the extra-large size but it is too big for her across the shoulders so omitted the sleeves. So it has turned out more like a cap sleeve, which she said is okay. I’m happy with how it turned out! It was a complicated pattern – the most difficult I have attempted so far…

Garden Party Wrap is finished (kind of…)
Here is a pic of the Garden Party Wrap which I crocheted for my mother-in-law for Christmas. It’s crocheted with three laceweight strands of yarn together, handspun. There’s a nylon plush, glitter metallic/cotton and boucle in there. It looks pretty, but is technically not finished – you can only see one side here. I ran out of yarn so it is more like a shawl… Never mind, she liked it and it sits nicely around her shoulders.
