100% cotton Lily Sugar n Cream
4 colours used 2 colours for body and 2 colours for eyes
Hook size 4mm
Yarn needle for sewing

Abbreviations
Ch = chain
hdc = half double crochet
St = stitch

To start with the toy Owl Pattern:
Create a magic circle 10 hdc) into circle then pull tight.
2 x hdc into 1st stitch and then repeat in all st’s to create 20 st’s
2 x hdc into 1st stitch, hdc into next repeat this around 30 st’s
2x hdc into 1st stitch, 1 hdc into next 2 st’s repeat this around = 40 st’s end of increase rows.
Next 11 rows hdc into each stitch
13th round add next colour and continue another 2 rounds until 15 rounds complete

Eyes
Create a magic circle 10 (½ dc) into circle then pull tight.
2 x ½ dc into 1st stitch and then repeat in all st’s to create 20 st’s
3 round add other colour 2 x ½ dc into 1st stitch, 1 ½ dc into next repeat this around 30 st’s
Sew button into centre of eye.

Once eyes are completed use yarn needle to sew onto body of owl.
