Christmas Angel Pattern

Christmas Angel Pattern

With Christmas fast approaching, I was inspired to create this simple crochet angel pattern using Caron Simply Soft Party yarn to capture the sparkle and the festive season. This fun and quick design can be used to create individual angels to use as ornaments, gift tags, or if you make several, attach them together using chains to create a Christmas angel garland.

The materials you will need:

Yarn: 8ply Caron Simply Soft Party

Hook: 4mm

Yarn needle

Optional: ribbon bows or stick on jewels for decoration.

Head of Angel

Create a Magic Circle

DC x 12 into circle, join SL ST into first DC ST.

DC x 2 into first 6 ST, then turn and go back, DC x 2 into the same 6 ST = 24 DC.

Bottom of Angel

CH x 12 turn and SC x 12

Turn and complete I more row of SC, then next row, start your decrease at each end until point forms = 3 more rows.

Sew the two pieces together and you have your Christmas Angel completed.
