Love these!! Thank you
Hi, in round 5 of this basket i am unable to get 72 stitches. Is there a mistake with the instructions.
Dear Kay, thank you for your message, the increases are 12 per round, I just had a look at the pattern and it seems to read correctly to me, not sure, but maybe in one of the rounds prior, there is a stitch missing? Let me know how you go, but just remember increases of 12 per round, it should get you through and if not just add one at the end to make up the 72 before the next round.
How do you make the smaller ones?
Hi Susan, sorry for the late reply, to make smaller ones, just reduce the pattern by half, the first round circle will have only 6 st’s instead of 12.
The jute I’m using is very hard to deal with. It’s stiff and sheds a lot. Any suggestions?
Hi Kelly, yes i have found different Jute strings to be completly different in texture and workablitly. Maybe try a different brand and see how you go.
Loved this and made medium size. Did not follow exact stitch count but came up good.
Lovely! may I ask, where did you get the jute from? and was it easy to work with?
What ply did you use?
